Trump's Next Tech Bromance
President Trump’s latest tech bromance involves Jensen Huang, the CEO and co-founder of Nvidia, the world’s most valuable company. After President Trump’s falling out with “First Buddy” Elon Musk, the opportunity for a new tech overlord to advise and work with the Trump administration presented itself. Enter Jensen.
As the head of Nvidia — the leading AI infrastructure company — Jensen Huang is one of the most critical individuals in the current AI revolution, which is reshaping the global economy. President Trump aims for the United States to lead in AI and other emerging technologies. With similar goals, a natural alliance between the men was inevitable.
Consider the following:
Jensen attended President Trump’s trip to the Middle East in May alongside other tech magnates and industry titans.
Jensen met with President Trump on January 31st and July 10th at the White House to discuss AI and chip sales regulations imposed by the prior administration. As a result, Nvidia can now sell its H20 AI chips to China.
At the “Winning the AI Race” summit hosted by the Hill and Valley Forum in D.C. on July 23, 2025, Jensen declared, “America’s unique advantage that no other country can possibly have is President Trump.”
Jensen credited President Trump at the “Investing in America” event at the White House on April 30th, 2025, with accelerating tech manufacturing in the United States.
In April, Nvidia pledged to construct AI servers over the next four years, worth $500 billion in the United States.
The big picture is that both President Trump and Jensen Huang want the United States to lead in AI and robotics and have the rest of the world “build” their AI models on American AI infrastructure, ensuring American technological dominance. This new and important partnership between President Trump and Jensen will increase the likelihood of this exciting future happening.
