Tech Media to Follow
One of the main themes of my writing is the coming tech revolution, fueled chiefly by the explosive development of AI and the helpful policies of the Trump administration. This Fourth Industrial Revolution will touch every aspect of our lives, so knowing what’s coming will be valuable to you. Getting good information, however, isn’t easy despite the vast amount of knowledge available on the internet. To that end, I am recommending some accounts and podcasts that provide quality insight into the tech world.
For your consideration:
Create an account on X (formerly Twitter) to access the best and brightest minds in both tech and business. You will not find these people on TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram.
The All-In Podcast features famed venture capitalists Jason Calacanis, David Friedberg, Chamath Palihapitiya, and David Sacks. Notably, Sacks is the current White House AI and Crypto Czar and a member of the PayPal Mafia. For insights into the connections between the political and tech communities, this is the go-to podcast.
To learn more about the companies shaping the tech world, I’d recommend the TBPN (Technology Business Programming Network) podcast put on by Jordi Hays and John Coogan.
For in-depth interviews about world-class founders, the Shawn Ryan Show podcast is among the best. You’ll get three hours of insightful questions to gain a clear understanding of a founder's beliefs.
For mainstream online publications and news, the Wall Street Journal and CNBC still do reliable reporting. For a deeper dive, The Information generates novel newsletters on tech worth your time.
We live in a media environment that can seem overwhelming. With the considerable amount of fake news and mediocre content, discerning what is useful is often laborious. I hope the recommendations above cut through the noise and help you be a more informed consumer of tech-related information.
